“Money, power, respect... but who's got your back?”

In New York City in 1998, Tommy 'Buns' Bundy (DMX) and Sincere (Nas) are best friends and feared shot-callers who work the hood together. Respected by many and feared by all, they hold their ground while the police close in and younger players look for a come up. Hype Williams, a music video director making his first feature, shoots the nights in saturated neon, so the city glows in color.
