Ben

“Where 'WILLARD' ended... Ben begins. And this time, he's not alone!”

Danny (Lee Montgomery) is a lonely boy with a heart condition, and all he wants is a friend. He finds one in Ben, the former pet of Willard and the leader of a growing pack of rats that has already killed. Phil Karlson sets the boy's quiet friendship beside a police search, and what holds the film together is how badly a sick, bullied child needs someone to protect him.
