Beneath Hill 60

“After Gallipoli there was still a war to be won.”

Captain Oliver Woodward (Brendan Cowell) is a mining engineer who joins the Australian tunnellers on the Western Front in the First World War. Jeremy Sims follows his company of miners, among them Frank Tiffin (Harrison Gilbertson) and Sergeant Bill Fraser (Steve Le Marquand), as they dig beneath the trenches in a secret war. Every shift puts them in tight, dark passages where a single mistake means the end of the whole company.
