Beneath the Darkness

“Now I lay you down to sleep.”

Travis (Tony Oller), a teenager in a small town, watches his best friend get murdered by a man everyone else counts as a local hero. Ely (Dennis Quaid) is that man, and the friends around Travis, including Abby (Aimee Teegarden), have to prove it before they become his next victims. Martin Guigui keeps the story pressed close to the group, and the last thing in the frame is Ely himself, calm and smiling.
