Benjamín's Wife

Benjamín (Eduardo López Rojas) is an old bachelor who shares a house with his sister, and the love letters he sends to the young Natividad (Arcelia Ramírez) have gotten him nowhere. So he decides to kidnap her. Carlos Carrera sets the story among a household of relatives and neighbors, and Natividad is watched by more than one of them. What grows between her and the men around her is quieter and more tender than the crime that started it.
