Benny's Video

Benny (Arno Frisch) is fourteen, lives in Vienna, and wants to make a violent film of his own, the kind he has spent years watching on tape. His parents, Anna (Angela Winkler) and Georg (Ulrich Mühe), keep him supplied with cameras and screens and ask very little about what he does with them. Haneke sets the boy and his well-off parents in the same flat, and the distance between them never closes.
