Berberian Sound Studio

Gilderoy (Toby Jones), a mild British sound engineer, flies to Italy in the 1970s to mix the effects for a horror film, and no one will tell him why the job feels wrong from his first day. Peter Strickland keeps him in a cramped studio, working through screams and gore built from his own hands. Each day the film's violence leaks further into him, and with it comes the risk of losing his hold on who he is.
