Bereavement

“There are some evils...so unspeakable...they will scar you forever.”

Seventeen-year-old Allison (Alexandra Daddario) comes to live with her Uncle Jonathan (Michael Biehn) in rural Pennsylvania, five years after a six-year-old named Martin was taken from his backyard swing. Exploring her new surroundings, she notices the farmhouse down the road isn't right, and her curiosity pulls her toward the recluse Graham Sutter (Brett Rickaby). Stevan Mena keeps the camera on the quiet countryside and lets the dread build there.
