Berlin Syndrome

“When passion becomes possession.”

Clare Havel (Teresa Palmer), an Australian photographer travelling through Germany, spends a night with Andi Werner (Max Riemelt), a charming English teacher she met in Berlin. She wakes in his apartment the next morning and cannot get out. Cate Shortland keeps the camera close and the rooms small, so Clare's every look at a locked window and a bare wall is hard to escape.
