Berserk: The Golden Age Arc I - The Egg of the King

“He trusts no one, only his sword.”

The Hundred Years' War has left a continent of battlefields, and Guts (Hiroaki Iwanaga), a mercenary with an enormous sword, drifts from one fight to the next with no reason beyond the pay. Then he loses a duel to Griffith (Takahiro Sakurai), the young leader of the Band of the Hawk, and joins his company, much to the distrust of Casca (Toa Yukinari). Toshiyuki Kubooka adapts Kentaro Miura's manga at Studio 4°C, with the Band's battles drawn in fast, crowded motion.
