“I sacrifice.”

A year after Guts (Hiroaki Iwanaga) walked away from the Band of the Hawk, Griffith (Takahiro Sakurai) sits in a cell in the Tower of Rebirth, imprisoned for treason by the Kingdom of Midland. What brings Guts back is a night attack by Bakiraka assassins on the camp where the scattered Hawks are hiding. Toshiyuki Kubooka puts Casca (Toa Yukinari) at the center, caught between the man who left and the one who is gone.
