Nedjma (Lina El Arabi) is a teenager in Paris, living with her mother and sister and spending the summer with her friends. Then she meets Zina (Esther Bernet-Rollande), who runs with the opposing gang, and the two of them are rivals in daylight and lovers in secret. Marion Desseigne-Ravel sets that secret against a crew that expects loyalty, and Nedjma stands to lose her place among them.
