Better Luck Tomorrow

“Never underestimate an overachiever.”

Ben Manibag (Parry Shen) is a straight-A senior who has the extracurriculars, the test scores and the college plans, and he is bored by every one of them. Justin Lin follows him and a few equally overachieving friends, including Virgil (Jason Tobin) and Han (Sung Kang), as they start cheating on tests and running small crimes for the thrill of it. Ben also keeps watching Stephanie (Karin Anna Cheung), and what the group has together grows harder to leave.
