Better Man

“Fame makes monkeys of us all.”

Robbie Williams (Jonno Davies) is still a boy in Stoke-on-Trent when he starts chasing a stage, and by his teens he is the youngest member of the boyband Take That. Michael Gracey tells it with Williams himself (voice) narrating over a computer-generated chimpanzee in his place. Every chart record and sold-out crowd comes with a younger man alone in the middle of it, hoping the noise is enough.
