Beverly Hills Cop

“He's been chased, thrown through a window and arrested. Eddie Murphy is a Detroit cop on vacation in Beverly Hills.”

Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is a Detroit street cop who talks fast, thinks faster, and has bent more than a few rules along the way. When his best friend is murdered, he drives to Beverly Hills to work the case on his own terms, which puts him in the path of Sgt. Taggart (John Ashton) and Det. Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold). Martin Brest sets a loud street-level cop against a city that wants him gone.
