Beware of a Holy Whore

A film crew sits in a hotel on the Spanish coast, waiting for the director Jeff (Lou Castel) and the star Eddie (Eddie Constantine) to show up, and with nothing to shoot they start drinking. Fassbinder fills the lobby with actors and technicians who smoke, quarrel and trade grievances while the money for the picture drains away. The longer Jeff stays missing, the less any of them can say whether there will be a film at all.
