Beyond Outrage

“Who is the worst among them?”

Otomo (Takeshi Kitano), a yakuza who was supposed to be finished, wants nothing except to be left alone, and nobody around him will allow it. Kitano, who also directs, spreads the story across rival families, police detectives and young men angling for rank, with Ishihara (Ryo Kase) among them. The police crackdown has set the Sanno of the East against the Hanabishi of the West, and the war now reaches the whole country.
