Beyond the Forest

“Nobody's as good as Bette when she's bad!”

Rosa Moline (Bette Davis) is the wife of a small-town doctor, Louis (Joseph Cotten), and she hates every inch of the life she has with him. When Neil Latimer (David Brian), a wealthy man from the big city, tells her to leave her husband and marry him, she sees her way out. King Vidor follows Rosa as she goes after that way out, ready to do whatever it takes.
