Beyond the Hill

Faik (Tamer Levent) has lived alone in the Turkish foothills for years, and he wants his land kept as his own. When his second son arrives with his two boys for a visit, Faik gives them his views on the law of the land and on the nomads he suspects of trespassing. Emin Alper builds the day around two generations circling each other, a father who talks too much and sons who keep their own counsel.
