“Open your heart, find your voice.”

Noni Jean (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) is a rising pop star whose fame has come fast, and the pressure of it nearly breaks her. Kaz Nicol (Nate Parker), a young cop with political plans, is assigned to her detail, and the two of them start to matter to each other.
