Beyond the Rocks

Theodora Fitzgerald (Gloria Swanson) wants a life of her own choosing, but she marries the older millionaire Josiah Brown (Robert Bolder) to please her family. On the honeymoon she meets the nobleman Lord Hector Bracondale (Rudolph Valentino), the man who once saved her life. Sam Wood directed this 1922 silent, long thought lost until a nitrate print turned up in the Netherlands in 2003.
