Beyond the Universe

Nina (Giulia Be) is a young pianist whose kidneys are failing, and she spends her days waiting for a transplant that may not come in time. Her doctor, Gabriel (Henrique Zaga), turns out to be someone she can talk to, and Diego Freitas lets that connection grow between appointments. Nina keeps music in front of her even as her body asks her to stop, and she chooses to play.
