Bharath Ram (Mahesh Babu) is finishing his studies at Oxford when his father, the chief minister of an Indian state, dies without warning. Koratala Siva follows him home to take the dead man's office, where the way the government runs offends him from the first day. Along the way he meets Vasumathi (Kiara Advani), and what grows between them has to share space with the fights he is picking in the capital.
