“Ranjit, who makes fun of idiots, gets completely annoyed when he invites a tax inspector and a singer to his house.”

Ranjeet Thadani (Rajat Kapoor), a bored and arrogant music producer, wants a better laugh than his Friday parties are giving him. The rule of the evening is that each friend brings an "idiot" to mock, and Ranjeet's pick is Bharat Bhushan (Vinay Pathak), a kindhearted Income Tax inspector who cannot stop helping. Sagar Ballary keeps the humor deadpan as Bharat's good intentions pile up, and Ranjeet starts to wonder what this invitation will cost him.
