Bickford Shmeckler's Cool Ideas

“Solving the mysteries of the universe, one girl at a time.”

Bickford Shmeckler (Patrick Fugit) is a college freshman who writes every bright idea he has into a single notebook, and he treats the pages like a body of work. Then the notebook is stolen, and he starts putting up flyers across campus, pulling in his friend Ralph (Fran Kranz) and a girl named Sarah Witt (Olivia Wilde) to help him look. Scott Lew's first film puts everything Bickford has thought of at risk, and the only copy is in a stranger's hands.
