Josh Baskin wakes up one morning in a grown man's body, and the only explanation is a wish he made the night before at a carnival machine. Penny Marshall follows him, still a 13-year-old inside, into a job and a first romance with a woman named Susan (Elizabeth Perkins). Josh (Tom Hanks) has to pass as an adult in a world that keeps assuming he knows what he's doing.
