Big Daddy

“Nature called. Look who answered.”

A five-year-old boy turns up on the doorstep of Sonny (Adam Sandler), a 32-year-old law school graduate who has never held a real job, and no one can say why he was left there. Sonny takes him in, partly to prove to his girlfriend that he can be responsible. Dennis Dugan sets the boy beside Layla (Joey Lauren Adams), a lawyer who sees both what Sonny hides and what he's growing into.
