Big Eyes
“She created it. He sold it. And everyone bought it.”
Margaret Keane (Amy Adams) paints in the late 1950s in San Francisco while her marriage to Walter (Christoph Waltz) tightens around her like a fist. Walter takes the paintings to galleries and signs them with his name; the big-eyed waifs become a sensation, and he becomes rich and famous while she stays invisible at home. Margaret stands alone before a canvas, brush in hand.
