Big Fish

“An adventure as big as life itself.”

Will Bloom (Billy Crudup) sits at the bedside of his dying father, Ed (Albert Finney), and listens to the same tall tales he has heard all his life. Tim Burton moves between the sickroom and the stories themselves, where a young Ed (Ewan McGregor) meets a witch and a giant and sets out after the woman he loves. Will wants the true man behind the stories, and the film treats the stories as the closest thing to him.
