Big George Foreman

“When life gives you a second chance, don't do it for yourself. Do it for everyone you love.”

Houston's Fifth Ward is where George Foreman (Khris Davis) grows up poor and angry, until a trainer named Doc Broadus (Forest Whitaker) points that anger at a boxing ring. George Tillman Jr. follows him from an Olympic gold medal to the heavyweight title, then out of the ring and into a pulpit. What carries the film is the bond between the fighter and Doc, a gruff mentor who stays in his corner.
