Big Miracle

“A family of whales trapped beneath the ice. One unforgettable rescue.”

In 1988, the small town of Point Barrow, Alaska, sits at the edge of the Arctic Circle, where local reporter Adam Carlson (John Krasinski) finds three gray whales trapped under the ice. His story pulls in Rachel Kramer (Drew Barrymore), a Greenpeace volunteer, and Ken Kwapis follows the two as they lean on Colonel Scott Boyer (Dermot Mulroney). Every day they wait, the breathing hole in the ice shrinks, and the whales have only so long.
