Bilo the Banker

Bilo (İlyas Salman) is a good-natured villager who wants to marry the cutest girl in his village, but her father will not give his consent without money. His best friend Maho (Şener Şen) points him toward Germany, where a factory job could earn the sum he needs. Ertem Eğilmez keeps the story among ordinary people, and the film treats love as a price a poor man has to pay.
