“Never lose sight of survival”

Malorie Hayes (Sandra Bullock) puts two children into a boat and ties blindfolds over all three of their faces, five years after an unseen presence began driving people to suicide. Susanne Bier follows them down the river toward the one place that might be safe, with Malorie listening for every sound the water carries. If any of them looks, they die.
