Birdshot

Maya (Mary Joy Apostol) is a farm girl raised in the Philippine countryside by her father, Diego (Ku Aquino), who teaches her to handle a gun. She fires into the trees and kills a Philippine eagle, an endangered bird, without knowing what it was. Mikhail Red sends two policemen, Domingo (Arnold Reyes) and Mendoza (John Arcilla), after whoever did it, and Maya has to keep quiet about what she did.
