“A story of a family left behind.”

Jung-il (Sul Kyung-gu) comes back to Korea after eight years abroad, at work and then in prison, and walks into a home that has moved on without him. His wife Soon-nam (Jeon Do-yeon) is barely holding it together, and his daughter Ye-sol (Do Yeong-seo) knows him mostly as a name. Lee Jong-un sets the film in the aftermath of the Sewol ferry sinking, and the camera stays on a family getting through the days after it.
