“Be careful what you wish for.”

John Buckingham (Ben Chaplin) is a bank clerk who orders a Russian wife off the Internet, and the woman who steps off the plane, Nadia (Nicole Kidman), turns out to speak no English at all. Early in her stay, two men turn up at the door claiming to be her cousin and his friend, played in Jez Butterworth's film by Vincent Cassel and Mathieu Kassovitz. John only wanted not to be lonely, and he is slowly realizing what he has let into his house.
