“You Can't Always Raise Who You Want”

Ben (Matthew Goode) and Catherine (Toni Collette) are scientists with a bet on how a person turns out, and their own three children are the test. Each child is raised against their genetic tendencies, to show that nurture outweighs nature. Emanuel Hoss-Desmarais keeps the experiment running in one household, where the parents' certainty about the data sits beside their growing attachment to the kids.
