“In Ireland’s darkest hour vengeance shines a light”

Feeney (James Frecheville) wants one thing in 1847: to get home to Connemara and his family after years fighting for the British Army abroad. He deserts his regiment and crosses an Ireland in the second year of the Great Famine, where the country he left has turned into a place where death reigns. Lance Daly sends Hannah (Hugo Weaving) and a few other men after him, and the pursuit moves over bare land, with Feeney's hard face set against it.
