Black and White

“What happens when you mix it up?”

Raven (Gaby Hoffmann) and her upper-class white friends want to be near Rich Bower, a rising hip-hop star with a crowd around him wherever he goes. Documentary filmmaker Sam Donager, with her husband Terry (Robert Downey Jr.), sets out to record how black culture has pulled in teenagers like these. James Toback builds the film from many threads, with Wu-Tang Clan members and Mike Tyson among those who turn up.
