Black as Night

“Find your own way to slay.”

Shawna (Asjha Cooper) spends her summer in New Orleans hunting the vampires that feed on the city's homeless, with her best friend Pedro (Fabrizio Guido) and a rich girl nobody quite figures out beside her. Maritte Lee Go directed the film, and the crush on Chris (Mason Beauchamp) rides along through every chase. Underneath the fangs, Shawna is a girl who has never felt sure of herself, learning that confidence comes from showing up for people.
