Black Box

“Some clues are better left unheard.”

Mathieu Vasseur (Pierre Niney) is a young black box analyst at the French aviation safety bureau, and he wants to be the one who finds out why a plane went down. When he listens to the recording from a fatal crash, he hears audio anomalies that nobody else will acknowledge. Yann Gozlan builds the film around Mathieu's headphones and his refusal to let the sound go, and the question is how far a man will follow what only he can hear.
