Black Crab

“Hope burns brightest in the cold.”

War has already ruined the country when Caroline Edh (Noomi Rapace), a former speed skater and the mother of a young daughter, is conscripted into a small team of soldiers. Their orders are to skate across the frozen sea behind enemy lines and deliver a secret package to an island research base, a trip that might end the war. Adam Berg films the crossing with long, quiet stretches on the ice, where the only sound is blades on the surface.
