Black Death

“In an age of darkness, one man will face the ultimate battle against evil.”

Osmund (Eddie Redmayne), a young monk, wants nothing more than to leave his monastery with the woman he loves, while the plague empties the country around him. Instead he is sent with the knight Ulric (Sean Bean) and a band of soldiers to find a village said to be untouched by the disease, ruled by a necromancer who raises the dead. Christopher Smith shot every scene in order, and the men who ride out together are not the same men who reach the village.
