Black Dog

Lang Yonghui (Eddie Peng) comes home to his Northwest China town after a stretch in jail, wanting only to get through the days without trouble. The only work on offer is the dog patrol, rounding up strays before the 2008 Olympics, and a black dog keeps slipping through his net. Guan Hu sets the two of them against the clock of the Games, and if the town finishes its clearing first, the dog is gone.
