Black Island

Dark secrets lie under the island's peaceful surface, though nobody who lives there will name them. Jonas Hansen (Philip Froissant), an orphaned student, finds himself drawn to Helena Jung (Alice Dwyer), a mysterious new teacher whose arrival seems to stir the people around him. Miguel Alexandre lets the unease build slowly and keeps the island's peaceful surface in view long after it stops feeling safe.
