“Meet Sam Quint... Stealing from him is the biggest mistake you can make.”

A tape that could sink powerful people ends up hidden in the one place no one thinks to look: a prototype car called the Black Moon. Quint (Tommy Lee Jones), a freelancer working for the FBI, stashed it there, and Nina (Linda Hamilton) is the thief who drove the car away. Harley Cokeliss directs, and with Ed Ryland (Robert Vaughn) hunting the tape, Quint has to get it back before the people it implicates find him first.
