“It could be tomorrow!”

Kabakov (Robert Shaw), an Israeli anti-terrorist agent, has days to stop a Black September plot to strike the Super Bowl. The man at its center is Lander (Bruce Dern), a disgruntled Vietnam veteran, and he is working with Dahlia (Marthe Keller). John Frankenheimer keeps the hunt tight and grainy, and Kabakov chases the clock with the look of a man who has already buried too many people.
