Black Tea

Aya (Nina Mélo), an Ivorian woman in her early thirties, says no at her own wedding, to everyone's astonishment. She leaves for Asia and finds work in a tea export shop, where she meets Cai (Chang Han), a 45-year-old Chinese man, and the two fall in love. Abderrahmane Sissako keeps them at the shop, among the tea, as other people's prejudices press in around them.
