Black Tide

In a French port town, a teenager vanishes without a trace, and the case lands on François (Vincent Cassel), a police officer who drinks too much. Erick Zonca adapted Dror Mishani's novel, The Missing File, and the search keeps pulling François back toward his own teenage son, whom he suspects of dealing drugs. Whatever the investigation turns up, it is François, hungover and unsteady, who has to carry it.
