“Infiltrate hate.”

Ron Stallworth (John David Washington), a Black detective in 1970s Colorado Springs, infiltrates the local KKK chapter by phone, then sends his white partner Flip Zimmerman (Adam Driver) to meetings in his place. As the deception deepens, they move closer to David Duke (Topher Grace) himself, but the closer they get, the operation threatens to unravel. What began as a sting operation risks consuming both men, and one of them may not survive it intact.
